Sarge says, "He's my new BEST FRIEND!  STEWIE!"

Stewie is our newest fur baby and Sarge's cage buddy! Stewie is the little guy. He is about 10 weeks OOP (out of pouch) as of 2/12/06.  That makes him about 3 1/2 months old.  He is a precious addition to our family.

Sarge wasn't quite sure what to think when we brought him home and introduced them. Upon meeting Sarge and Stewie were NOT the best of friends....and its a good thing the breeder I bought Stewie from told me what to expect or I would have never left them in the cage together for more than 1/2 an hour.  The "cat-fight-like" exchanges as they got acquainted were a bit disconcerting.  But as the breeder told me....there was no blood shed or injuries....just submission by the junior glider.  It was very interesting to watch them adapt to each other.  Now they ARE the best of friends.  Sarge is a great BIG brother.  Stewie loves his attention. Sarge is always grooming him and cuddling with him. They are great companions.
