Meet Sarge!  He is our newest Fur-Baby!  He is a Sugar Glider.  We brought him home Oct. 15th.  He was 2 months OOP (out-of-pouch).  We have been preparing for this moment for a while.  Nico was so excited for his arrival, in fact we all were!   It was only a matter of a day or two and we all were struck with a bad case of *GLIDER-ITIS*!  

Nico and I have agreed to share him, as his schedule with school, soccer and girlfriend make it difficult for him to give Sarge enough attention.  I eagerly obliged by covering for him when he isn't around.  Sarge is pretty comfortable with all of us.  Although he does know who the Mommy is.  I handle him the most and am the *hand* that feeds him most.  He is loving his new family.  We get such a kick out of him.

Funny thing....I remember the day I GASPED when I would PAY for live crickets to feed the our tank of lizards a few years ago.  Funnier yet...I find myself *catching* crickets and grasshoppers for this little *bugger* and hand feeding these creepy crawlers to him!  I must be out of my mind!!!!  *laughing*  Not to mention the mealworms too.  haha 

He is absolutely precious and so loves our *cuddles* we give.  He enjoys our chats and still gets a bit nervous when we allow him *Adventure* time.  That is when we entice him to come out (of the fleece pouch he is so secure in) to play.   It is usually short lived...just because we are trying to set limits on his territory.  We do however let him explore freely in the small *Critter* Ball.  The kind used with gerbils and hamsters.  He goes to town and back.  LOL   

We have decided to get him a cage mate as soon as possible.  We feel it would be in his best interest and we have plenty of love and affection to go around.  He seems very content and has adapted well to his new surroundings...but we would love to have a pair.  So we are seeking a female for him.
